Epping Eye Surgery's Story
This ophthalmology practice first began in a 96 year old house in Rawson Street Epping in 1967 with Dr Marlene Strathdee. Four years later it changed premises in Rawson Street and also accommodated a private Orthoptic Pratice, with OPSM in the same building.
In 1983, the practice moved to its current location, 40 Essex Street Epping, and became known as “Epping Eye Surgery” (EES) in order to incorporate both the ophthalmic and orthoptic practices.
In 2005, after working at EES for 7 years, Dr Craig Donaldson became the owner of EES. Dr Peter Kim joined EES in 2011 and in 2013, Peter and Craig became co-directors of EES.
